About the FMGE Course & Demo

What is covered in the Demo Classes/Workshop

This is a full day 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.,  Demo class cum Workshop and will cover the following topics

  • “Why the current success rate for FMGE averages to just 10% & How to pass the FMGE Examination”
  • “How to acquire a PG Degree in different specialties in, Australia, New Zealand, US, UK & Ireland etc., and the pros and cons there of”
  • “How to acquire MRCS/MRCP/FRCS/  just on the basis of  your working experience in India and / or abroad”.

The Workshop will also touch upon the pros and cons of Surgical / Medical training in different specialties in different countries.

I conduct these seminars on a regular basis, and my observation is that these seminars certainly help students make informed decisions.

I am sure my Workshop will also resonate well with students trying to get admissions to PG courses. With the massive competition for PG programs, and the limited probabilities for most students to get admission to PG courses of their choice, looking forward to studies in UK and elsewhere is an option worth considering, and achievable without spending enormous resources. Besides these courses are now approved by the Medical Council in India, facilitating students who choose to come back to India after completing their PG studies.

Topics Covered in the Demo Class/Workshop will include…

How to integrate and study clinical and non clinical subjects instead of studying nineteen subjects separately for all competitive examinations

Anatomy based Clinical History & Clinical Examination for Clinical Diagnosis Problem-based learning that involves presenting students with real-world clinical scenarios and encouraging them to analyze, evaluate and apply their knowledge Holistic approach to medical education, helps students see the relevance of different medical subjects to clinical practice, and promotes a deeper understanding of the subject matter.

Team-based learning tasks related to clinical and non-clinical subjects, that promotes collaboration, communication, and critical thinking skills among students Pedagogical approaches into my teaching has helped students develop a deeper understanding of the relevance of various non clinical aspects into clinical practice and help them prepare for successful and rewarding future career in healthcare.

Counsel students and help students struggling with Career Decisions How to get MRCS for MRCP bar FRCS with working experience in India or abroad Pros and cons of surgical training in different specialties in different countries including Australia, New Zeland, Ireland and India.

How to get job / PG even with just AMC part one in Australia.

Why doctors struggle with un predictable NEET PG and FMGE exams.

Clinical skill training including history taking, counselling, and clinical examination Advantage and disadvantage of post graduation and super specialty training in UK, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand and US compared to India.

Training on Mannequins.

Training for audit and publications to improve your CV Interview skill training to face from UK, Australia, New Zealand and Ireland Training for OSCE.

Why it is worth considering MRCS / MRCP is an alternative to an MS / MD degree in India.
