Institute for Continuing Medical Education (ICME)

What we do?

We teach students, how to prepare for and complete examinations successfully. More importantly we teach students the art of learning. A typical course at ICME runs full day for 10 to 12 hours every day for the duration of the course. A typical days training involves Instructor lead teaching for a couple of hours, followed by discussions, case study discussions, presentations and lot of learning happens through discussions and peer interaction. At ICME, most importantly we motivate students to be more humane and better health care professionals.

What we don’t do?

We do not solicit jobs for students, we are not a recruiting or manpower agency. If you are looking for someone to take money and send you abroad, ICME is the wrong place.

Who can Join us? & What are the expectations?

Think of joining us only if you are really keen to learn, and prepared to spend at least twelve hours to study every single day that you are at the course.

ICME is not a place to hang around and enjoy life as one would do in College. This is an institute dedicated to Continuing Medical Education. If you are not dedicated to your work then ICME is not the place for you.

What are the expectations from Students?

At ICME learners are expected to be punctual (dot on time), and there is no scope for lazying it out at ICME. No Smoking, No Drinking, No Partying, and above all no casual work at ICME. Plan to join us only if you have a clear objective, are dedicated to your work and focussed enough to achieve your objective.

About your Instructor ?

I am a practising Consultant Urologist/Surgeon and dedicated to patient care. Teaching is my passion, have been teaching Doctors for many decades now, and I will be your chief instructor. I am dedicated to my work, am very serious and passionate about what I do, so it makes it very difficult for me to accept people who have a lack lusture attitude towards work. But having said that, if your are focussed on what you aspire to be, I am sure by the time you finish your course with me, your thinking would change for the better.
